À l’arrière plan, on aperçoit les montagnes qui dominent le rivage bordé de végétation.&#13;

Carte postale monochrome verte, couleur qui laisse penser qu'elle a probablement été éditée à partir de 1930. Imprimé au recto, le nom du magasin de Georges Spitz à Papeete.&#13;

N.B. : les dates de séjour d’Alexis Massainoff devraient permettre de situer la scène et de dater la carte postale entre sa date d'arrivée à Tahiti et la fin d'activité de G. Spitz. On sait qu’il était présent à Tahiti en 1931 (date du dessin de sa femme utilisé pour la couverture d’Océania publié par le SEO la même année).&#13;
